Favehotel Malang proudly announces the success of its collaboration with Peter Bimbel in introducing various hotel facilities while enhancing children's vocabulary through engaging activities held on September 28, 2024.
During this event, a total of 21 participants were invited to explore the beauty of Favehotel Malang through a fun Hotel Tour. They were introduced to various places in the hotel, including the Front Office, Lime Restaurant, Kitchen, Meeting Room, and different types of rooms such as Superior, Deluxe, and Deluxe Family, before moving on to the highly anticipated plating and mixing session.
This Hotel Tour was a new experience for the children, allowing them to learn about making beds, the check-in and check-out processes, plating spaghetti pasta, creating beverages, and familiarizing themselves with the dining equipment used in the hotel.
Under the guidance of First Cook Dicky for plating the pasta dish and assisted by Senior Staff Galih for the method of making the Korean Milky Down drink, each participant had the opportunity to create their own creations using various interesting ingredients provided. The atmosphere was joyful and filled with laughter as the children shared ideas and inspiration, making each of their food and beverage creations special.
This event not only taught food and beverage preparation techniques but also built the children's social skills and self-confidence. Parents looked proud as they admired the creations of their children, showcased with great pride.
"This program is part of our English curriculum, where every month the children have an outing activity to learn outside the classroom. For instance, today they are learning about jobs in the hotel, hotel facilities, equipment, and hotel food. This is one of the monthly programs, and each month we visit different places to learn. The aim is to provide exposure; while the children have learned in class, they can apply that knowledge outside. There are also topics they haven't yet learned in class, such as this hotel visit, so they can learn directly here. This program is very beneficial as it always receives positive responses from the children and parents," said Mrs. Neni from the Peter Bimbel teaching team in Malang.
"This hotel tour program is not only to introduce our own fave to the general public but also as a place or educational medium for several schools outside, especially in the city of Malang, so we get three benefits, namely awareness, under room revenue and sharing knowledge with friends or social activities out there. ” said <Mrs Ayu Ratna, Sales Marketing Manager of favehotel Malang>
We would like to thank all participants, parents, and the team who contributed to making this event a success. Favehotel Malang is committed to continuing to support creative activities that inspire the younger generation in the future.
